Very nice light with a ton of settings and colors!

I got this light for my 40g tank. It replaced a Hygger light that didn’t get bright enough for my plants. This light has a lot more color options and settings! It can be set to mimic dawn to sunset. It also can monitor the temperature to your tank and has settings for an alarm if the water gets too hi or low above the normal temperature. This lights functionality is awesome! Definitely worth the price. I would recommend!

Cadillac of aquarium lighting

I got this for my 55 gal tank long tank and it is perfect. Sleek, modern looking and not bulky at all on top. The light is uber bright, so having brightness adjustment is good and depending on the type of fish you have and how planted your tank is, the lighting options are very adjustable…highly recommend to read the instructions manual or watch a YouTube video first before doing the programming. Initially the programming may seem to be complicated, but once you have it figured out the 1st time around, it is not hard at all. I just love the 24/7 program mode which is so versatile and it slowly transitions the lighting into the next color mode in the day, so there is no trauma or sudden color changes for your fish….well designed! Another one of the most important aspects for me in choosing this aquarium light over others is that it has a battery backup which uses a CR1220 lithium battery (included), which means the light will not lose its programming if it is accidentally unplugged or if there is a power out….and where I live, power outages happen quite often…..so no frustration of having to reprogram. Overall this is an awesome low profile, versatile and programmable lighting option that is streamlined and minimalistic in design and it just compliments my aquarium beautifully. If you’re on the fence, this one is the cadillac of aquarium LED lighting and well worth its price tag and you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful multiple colors.

Beautiful aquarium lighting. Love the hourly automatic color change. Although, directions are printed too small and hard to follow while programming.

great light plus the thermometer is a nice bonus

i ordered the 22w version. The light is very bright, with a bunch of colour options so you can shift the colour into whatever works best for your tank. my favourite for my needs was the all colours combined option. there are also multiple brightness settings, so you can dial it up or down based on your needs (or your tank depth). The colour spectrum seems great and makes my fresh water plants pop, so far them seem to be thriving under this light. being able to really dial in the red/blue/white balance is also great. for tanks i have to stare at all day, i like to give a warmer tone (no blue) as opposed to tanks i check in on, which i dont mind the extra blue in. i tend to buy higher end fixtures, but I'm not noticing any significant difference light quality wise once dialed in compared to lights 2-3x the price.I usually use smart plugs for all my tanks, but with this light im just using the built in timer, depending on what your growing 8-12h is great.the housing seems to be aluminum, and feels pretty good for the price, is heavy enough to not be overly worried about damaging it without worrying about putting a super heavy light on top of the glass. the metal extender bars for mounting are not the best Ive ever seen, but in this price range their more than adequate and will definitely hold the light in place well.the temperature sensor is an interesting addition. it seems accurate compared to my high end kitchen thermometer, and its nice to have it built in with alarms. i dont want to always look at the thermometer so this is a nice in-between safety feature.im becoming a real fan of SEAOURA lights after trying a few.

This is a great light for the money

I am really impressed with this light. I haven't found any other light with this degree of control in this price range.I have 4 of these now in different sizes for my aquariums. Here is what I like about it:* It has dedicated controller and does not rely on an app.* It supports true 24/7 scheduling in 3 modes. A simple day/night mode A 5 stage mode that allows you to pick a different color preset for each stage An 8 stage mode that allows full customization for each stage.* It has a battery to avoid losing settings/time during a power outage.* It has a temperature sensor and alarm. While a strange feature, it has been pretty useful.* The LEDs go very close to the edge of the light so coverage on the left and right is excellent.* The light color and intensity is configurable You can control the intensity of the white/blue/red/green LEDs as a single setting. You can individually control the intensity of each channel of the narrow spectrum RGB LEDs. Those things together actually give you quite a bit of color customization for an inexpensive light.* I was surprised by how much reds pop with this light, I wish I had a high end light to compare color rendition against. There are some things that could be better:* The light sits very low to the tank and I have not been able to find any pre-made risers that fit a framed tank* The stated PAR for this light seems pretty accurate according to my tests however, it can't compare to the high end, high tech lights that put out a lot more PAR. I am running a medium light setup and have it set to 50% so it isn't really a problem for me.* The controller, while highly configurable, is exceptionally unintuitive. It works fine once you figure it out but the learning curve is steep. It also takes a lot of button presses to get things done since there are limited buttons available.* The buttons on the controller are not awesome* The preset color modes seem pretty useless. They turn off the white, red, green and blue LEDs and only use the RGB LEDs. It seems like a feature that was tossed into the light. Of course, you can just ignore this feature since you can dial in any combination you want.
